Hero WOD: Clinton “Tom” Showalter

May 10th, 1979- April 28th, 2020

Firefighter/Paramedic, Albemarle County Fire & Rescue

This workout is dedicated to Clinton “Tom” Showalter who died April 28th, 2020.

Tom is remembered for his dedication to his family, friends and career.

A Virginia native, he worked as a professional Firefighter/Paramedic in Chesterfield County, King George County and Albemarle County. Every department he worked for he made lasting friendships and is greatly missed.

He was an adventurous spirit who would snowboard, rock climb and surf. He worked to keep physically fit, not just to keep up with his lifestyle, but to be able to do his job to the best of his ability.

This workout is written to honor him and any First Responder that is fighting with their own Mental Health.
